I want to talk about how to boost your income if you're in an MLM business. If you're not sure what MLM is or multilevel marketing, network marketing, you bring people into the business on your team, and then you earn on what they do.

Depending on how many levels down the company pays out, you also earn on what your team members' people—their downline—does.

There are two ways you can boost your income, depending on the type of business that you're in.

You can sell products that are key to the business. So with SFI in particular, there is a whole line of cleaning products like all-purpose cleaners, laundry detergent, hand cleaner, dish detergent, shampoo, etc. They also have a full line of nutritional supplements.

So in that type of company, to boost your income, you can sell products. You can either buy them at wholesale and take them to a local flea market or set up your own little store and sell them locally, or you can promote them online.

So, that's one way to boost your income.

The best way, though, to boost your income is to build a team and teach them how to do the same things that you're doing.

That's going to boost your income without putting any more effort into your business than what you're already doing to earn your primary income. So, duplication is what's going to boost your income.

What I've been doing is teaching my team members how to do videos, how to do blogs, etc. because if they do what I'm doing then as they're more successful, I'll automatically boost my income too.

That's one of the key drivers to increasing your income when you're in MLM. If you don't have a fantastic sponsor that's doing things that mesh with your personality, then don't be afraid to contact other members, even if they're not in your spline. You can get some input and feedback.

I had a woman contact me the other day. She's in SFI like me, and she said that she could use all the help that she can get because her sponsor isn't really that active, and she's having a problem with recruiting people.

In fact, she's been tossing around the idea of dropping out of the company and I told her NO, don't do that! I did that, and I'm sorry that I did. It did give me almost a year to really decide what I want to do and how, and learn a lot more in the process, so I wasn't stressing myself out attempting to run a business when I didn't know what I was doing.

She's not in my downline, but I asked her to follow me anyway. So, I'll be helping her boost her income and then everything that I teach her I'm also teaching my downline so that I will earn from what they're doing.

And then as I earn more, my sponsor and spline earns more.

That's the cool thing about network marketing. That's one thing that you want to keep in mind when you're thinking about ways to increase your revenue in your network marketing business.

Find what's working for you and teach your downline. Recruit people who are like-minded. Recruit people who like doing what you like to do, and then teach them how to do what you're doing. And that will boost your income.

Internet network marketing is a well-structured model that has changed network marketing from business as usual to an easy to operate system where the prospects become the ones hunting for the sponsor, with credit card in their hands soliciting to subscribe to your business opportunity. This is no bullshit. 

It is for real. You should also know that this business model is very convenient and defiles territorial boundary limitations. Through your website, you can show your prospects what is working for you in the industry.

Internet network marketing model is a system that any determined person can study and replicate, hence start making good money from your business opportunity. This model involves five sure-fire guaranteed bullet-proof processes, thus:

Set up your marketing system

Drive traffic to your site (marketing system)

Convert the traffic to leads.

Build relationship with the people in your list

Start selling to, and make money from your list

By setting up your marketing system, you define how you will be promoting your business. Your marketing system involves setting up a website or blog. It is not just setting up a website, but designing a Search Engine Optimized (SEO) site. Your site has to be well-structured to be very much appealing to your site visitors. I know you may be asking, how do I make my site appealing? It is simple. You have to implement these strategies;

Your domain name must carry your niche keyword

Create pages that offer value. Note; every visitor who visits your site is there because he believes he can get something useful. Hence, offer valuable contents to them.

Make your squeeze page attractive and irresistible. Use powerful call-to-action in your squeeze page which promises something that your visitors cannot resist.

Use post archive to arrange your blog posts to make it easy for your visitors to access them.

Make your blog posts short and simple.

Use video posts often. It attracts the visitors more than articles.

After setting up your site, you have to drive traffic to it. This is the only way you will let the world know that you exist. Here are some simple traffic generation strategies;

Research your keyword for the article.

Google the keyword for similar contents.

Read about ten different similar articles on the keyword to gather more information.

Write your SEO article. Keep it short, simple and informative.

Submit your article to at least ten different directories.

Use a powerful and catchy anchor text in your resource box. Learn to attach your anchor links on the keywords to promote search engine optimization.

Publish same article in your blog. Note that the anchor link in the directories should be the direct URL to the article, not the site URL.

Use Only Wire Pro to submit your article to as many social media as possible.

Post the article link on the walls of about ten groups you liked on Facebook that is related to your keyword. You have to use an attractive anchor text.

Tweet the article link on Twitter.

Post the article link on the walls of about ten groups that you follow in LinkedIn.

Do these consistently and watch your traffic grow.

Now that the traffic is coming, you have to convert the traffic to leads. Implementing the Principle of Attraction Marketing strategies will easily convert your traffic to leads. You have to position yourself as somebody who is knowledgeable enough with the skills your visitors need to promote their business. 

Therefore, you have to develop yourself to present yourself as an expert. To command the respect of your visitors, you have to teach them what is working for you. By doing that, you are presenting yourself as a leader who is interested in the progress of your followers. As long as your visitors are getting these from you, they will subscribe to, and remain in your list.

 You must build a relationship with those in your list. You have to keep interacting with them. Your follow-up messages need to be informative. When you have built a trust from those in your list, you can recommend materials and resources to them. From this avenue, you make affiliate commission. Furthermore, those that are interested in your business opportunity will subscribe to it. At this point, you will continue to earn income in different forms from your lists.

Choose to get behind a product or service you personally have a connection to: There are millions of products and services out there, but I have to burst your bubble the product is NOT the reason people are succeeding. 

People succeed at network marketing companies because they have a system in which they are marketing these products and services to a general marketplace of other commonly interested people. Let's say you find a product that YOU like and are attached to.

 Yes, you naturally will want to share it with everyone you know, but what if you are sharing it with someone who literally has no desire in that product. Better yet, you may be pitching the idea of becoming a representative in your company to someone who has no general interest in making additional income. I know we just think that “these opportunities are for everyone because they're for us, and we are just like everyone else”, but as you can and will see it's NOT. 

Connect with a product that you can easily market with ease because you are familiar with the use, make and result of the product. Lead with your familiarity, but stand on a strong marketing method. It is a guaranteed fact that many (not all) of the top leaders in various MLM companies, have run some sort of traditional business before and have succeeded; therefore they already have the blueprint to long-term success with a business and a tangible or non-fungible product. 

The formula has already been mixed for them, so all they are doing is switching to a new product. Same SYSTEM….new product. And it's almost a for sure fact that their previous business was not built off family and friends.

3. Learn to think outside the “normal MLM friends and family box”: Get trapped in this box, and you will never see daylight again. Continuously think out of the box, and you will practically create the marketplace for yourself and your team, and you will be a top money earner in your opportunity. Do you really think that these top money earners are out there just signing up family and friends? No, they aren't….in fact, I'd go as far to even say that only 1% of their actual family is even involved with them. 

So, what are they doing that you aren't? Yes, it's true many top earners were previously successful at other ventures, other MLM opportunities and so that comes along with years of rapport from the right funnel of contacts, financial credibility (people know they wouldn't get involved with something that isn't worthwhile) and overall influence. The industry tells you to go out there and sign up everyone you have the most influence with. 

What if you are not some hot shot previous millionaire from another industry or company and your rapport and influence with folks isn't horrible, but it's nowhere near that level. These top income earners paint the picture that if you work hard (like they did) then in 6 months you will be a millionaire. Will you have the same results? Absolutely not….they will always beat you at that…therefore making the opportunity for success becomes very, very slim for the general population of enrolled representatives. 

The industry tells you to “due it down” and just talk to people, well, that's a lot easier said that done. But one viable solution is for you to actually LEARN marketing (your actual job with this thing). Learn how to create your marketplace, by tapping into other atmospheres apart from mom, dad, brother, neighbor, church member, colleague, and uncle Jack. 

There are direct mail opportunities, word of mouth, advertising (some paid, some free), promoting, and of course, the largest and most useful the INTERNET. This can be your hugest resource in terms of marketing what you have to offer to people who are actually looking for you.

4. Follow good leadership: This is a no-brainer. Just like anything else in life, buddy up with those who are a few steps ahead of you because you can only get better. Continue to surround yourself around certain personalities that challenge your character to grow positively. 


Anybody can sign up someone in a network marketing opportunity, but not everyone can be a true leader and lead that new person to success. Who you enroll with can and will affect the way you build the business. Good leadership usually comes with accountability. Someone reliable and who you can hold accountable. 

Someone who is always there to assist you in forward growth. Not just that, but someone who has a SYSTEM that is assisting them in building a substantial business. Imagine you are not in network marketing, and you just developed a top of line product with your particular group of people and the time is now come to market and get your product sold in the eye of the general population. 

You would never be around non-leaders who could not show you how to market your product. So, why in network marketing (this painted as a huge opportunity that might change your life permanently) would you not apply the same rules? Again it sounds simple,, but common sense is not always so common.

 If you are being swept off your feet by some fast talking high roller with your company and he or she is not willing to sit you down and introduce you to exactly the HOW-TO (marketing system) in building your business, think twice before enrolling with that person.

5. Understanding how to choose the appropriate marketing system: Since you are in network-”Marketing” yes that means you are in sales (even though they say you aren't). You have to sell and market your product to people. Uncover the needs of folks and share what you have as a solution to a common need.

 So with this said, deciding the appropriate marketing system can be the make or break for the average business builder who isn't blessed with a 300 name warm market list of people who just jump at anything you say due to your financial rapport with them. 

Your marketing system should literally help you attract qualified people to you that are actively searching for what you have, assist you in actively maintaining constant communication with these people, developing qualified prospects for you as new warm market people and lastly, it should assist you in organizing your lead base from initial point of contact to closing the deal.

 This is the missing gap in traditional network marketing. If you go get a job as a sales rep or marketing executive, they are going to teach you how to market to a population that is in growing demand of what you have. But network marketing for some odd reason does not graph that map out too well, so you give it a good rah, rah for 3-6 months, and then you're out or moved on to another networking opportunity you feel is easier for some reason. 

The purpose of all of this is to teach you that this business evolves around the nature of people, meeting new ones, pre-qualifying interested ones, and maintain good quality relationships with existing ones. The person who communicates the most effectively and efficiently wins! They do this by actively and successfully marketing to the Appropriate people, not everybody, no anybody, but only particular people who have shown a general interest in what they have to offer.
